A FLY!
Is it alive?
Hey! that was the fly you were suppose to have killed!
Now I have to explain this to the folks on Dgrin ya duffa
Well it was late so I took it to bed with me and tried to photograph it on a white tissue 4 hours after Christina supposedly killed it on the window sill.
I carried it ever so carefully so as not to do any more damage to it.
.... and low and behold I fire off ONE SHOT and the bloody thing came back to life
Ohhhhhhhhh it was too funny, we laughed and laughed didn't we
The SmugMug/Dgrin Shoot outs are great fun,
if you haven't been to one, you gotta try at least one

Ohh, she's not even telling you all of it! See, I guess there was a warm snap or something and we had like a swarm of flies happily buzzing about the window, driving me MAD. I took after them with the cardboard from 6 pack of Moose Drool...or something. Well, Skippy said, "No! Let's just shoo them out." So...we shoo them out.
Later that night she decided she wants to try her new gear and while searching for something photogenic she spots a fly that I apparently "killed" earlier in the day. So as to be hygenic she places the poor wee bugger on a tissue. The shock of being FLASHED so violently make him come back to life and FLIP! So....what does Skippy do? She LETS HIM GO!
Then she asks...
"are there any dead ones?" Couldn't we have just killed that one? It's October in the mountains. It wouldn't've lasted much longer anyway.
Oh and I have it on good authority that she was also taking macro shots of the president's gluteous maximus.
PS, can you please tell me which of your macro shots are safe for ME to look at? You know me and bugs...

Awwwwwww David, I haven't had a full day at home since I got back from USA.
I did however find a huge spider outside last night at about 9.30pm when I got home from work.
Got the MPE out and the spider was so big it scared me being so close hehehe I couldn't get a good shot
Shooting huge spiders in the Dark is scary when you can't see what the heck is going on!
Hopefully on the weekend David......... Skippy

That's some mightly wicked flash to be able to reanimate. I wonder if that's a bug in the design?

That's the best line I have read in a long time. I think Skippy needs that in her sig.
