How do people find my site

Is there a way to see how people are finding my site through search engines? Can I see what searching for and what keywords bring them to my site?

If you add Google Analytics and/or Statcounter to your site, you will be able to see some interesting stats - like those you've requested.

Thanks Denise! I added it to my site following the tutorial but there is something wrong. Google is saying that it is not added. hmmmm?

Is it actually giving an error? Or is it just saying that there isn't any info? If I remember correctly, it takes a couple of days (of information gathering) before you actually get any reports on the google analytics screens.

This is what it says:

Tracking has not been validated or added to one or more of your Website Profiles
Report data is not being gathered for one or more of your Website Profiles. Please review the Status column in the table below to discover which Website Profiles require action in order to add tracking for gathering report data.

It does sound like something is wrong.
I just checked my profile, and I have my smugmug site set up without the preceding http:// and my blogger site set up with the http:// preceding the site URL. So that apparently doesn't matter.

Is there anything in the status column? Mine just says "receiving data". If there isn't an obvious error in that column, maybe it's worth waiting a day or two to see if it's just the initial timing.
