Suggestions please!

Please tell me which one for the challenge... I have the purple water one in now, but I like both of these. I can't decide. Thanks for your input!

The leaf is a more pleasing image for me.

In my opinion, the focus is better, the DOF is better, the composition is better and the tones are good

Having written that though, there are also a lot of leaf containing entries that have been entered, so the purple shot is something different that won't necessarily go up directly against another similar image. It's difference might appeal to the judges, but it doesn't do much for me (I'd go with the leaf).

My preference is for the neutral colors of the water droplets on the leaf pic. Kind of goes in hand with the colorlessness (new word?) of the water itself.

The leaf image is a wonderful image, but I really liked, and prefer, the purlple water when you put it in, except that I wanted to crop out the white rim at the top. I realized that doing that would kill the droplets that stand out, so I didn't suggest it. So for that reason I think the leaf is a more finished idea. If yo can reshoot, I think the purple water would be a more powerful image.
