Canon 10d mode dial.
I recently upgraded, so I'm begrudgingly preparing to turn the first digital camera that I really loved over into the hands of some hungry young buck ready to take on the world. I've taken good care of it and feel good about the sale, but there's just one thing: the paint markings on the mode dial have mostly worn off. I figure this camera is best aimed at someone who is new to dSLR, so that may be a bit daunting if the buyer isn't ready to jump right into Av, Tv or M modes (all of which clearly visible)
My question is this: Is there any quick and easy fix to this? Is this a part that you can buy new and replace easily yourself? Or will I need to send the camera on a furlough to Canon Factory Service just to get this part freshened up?
TIA,
Tyler

By the way, I like to see wear like that, it shows that the thing did not sit in your bag and it was out there being used.
You migh t also notice that 'M,' 'Av,' and 'Tv' are all intact - because the selected poition, and those close to it are all protected from wear by the viewfinder hump. I never used any of the automatic modes, I have no idea what any of them do.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll call CFS today.
