Shot with Marc's extension tube on my 17-40 during Shenandoah. I had never used extension tubes before. I was trying to manually focus a la the MP-E65 ('cause i was shooting macro and was used to manual focus), then I heard the focus beep. Oh yeah - autofocus still works.
All ambient light with the 17-40 @ 40mm, extension tube, f/13, ISO 200, 1/320 sec.

Thanks, Brian. Haven't been using the macro lens for a while for some reason. Need to get that back out and shoot something.

Thanks, Schmoo. If I remember correctly I was lying on the side of a hill looking up. A lot of shots came with some free Muench-bokeh. These were pretty much useless.

Wow David that's a very pretty shot
Too bad the MPE-65 isn't both AUTO & Manual, it's nice to hear that beep.
You've done a real nice job of this one .... Skippy
