Well I almost stepped on this little guy walking back to the car in the rock quarry..So I thought I would break out the extension tubes and see how co-operative he would be...
All in all he stayed pretty calm as the big lense got to within a few inches..

cool photos In the 2nd one, I think I would prefer to see the green of the (bull)frog; but I really like the b/w w/ golden eye in the last. There, it looks like the frog should be shades of gray, like the bkgd.
