I took these pictures last year and I have posted them before, but i am learning more about post processing. I have tried to make them pop more with more saturation and contrast. Still learning but I don't think they are as dull. The first is an example of the before.

Bad back lighting on these. I have tried for a year to get these to look good, but they are so-so. Is the edge do to the lens? It was a 70-300 mm.

I actually remember those pictures. Frankly, though, I think the pics look oversaturated now. Dial back the saturation a bit and play with the curves to make them pop. I haven't figured out how to make a picture look good with bad back lighting. Yours look pretty good though. I'd be happy with them.

I'm with Maestro on this one, the photos look too saturated. The first photo looks fine, but needs alittle help in the lights, and darks, thus a curve adjustment is needed. This is first time I have ever seen these and I like these shots espeically the one of the red tail and rodent meal.

The shot needed a sat boost, but about half of what you gave it. If you are gonna fool with color, make sure your monitor is calibrated.

I can see why you would want to save the shots. :D

You've got some great shots here. I agree with the others, though. All your orig's needed are maybe a slight curve, and sharpening.

    Cheers,

Thanks. A colorblind person can be dangerous in photoshop!
