Ew! Those are ticks? I'm squirming thinking about having something of that size attached to me. eek7.gif

It's a dangerous little world out there. But lovely shots indeed!

Great images! Very interesting to see those ticks--makes my skin crawl! Not many bugs around my garden lately--I'm sure they're there-- just haven't been patient enought to find them. Thanks for sharing your images, I really enjoy seeing them!!

Those pics are absolutely amazing Brian. The detail is incredible. You have certainly conquered the macrophotography. Would you send a few of those bugs up north for me to practice on as I can't find anything in my garden at the moment.
    Cheers

    Thanks Bob :)
funnily enough someone in Scotland has been trying to send me some bugs to photograph for them- no success so far the Royal mail seems to be determined to make sure they do not arrive alive by delaying delivery.

You should be able to find lots of things to practice in even when there have been frosts. Cut flowers/indoor plants or try grabbing a container full of fallen leaves (preferably slightly damp) and taking them inside to have a look.
