I read LL's pre-test preview... interesting. I read Northlight's comments about delivery. CPS isn't saying squat and Chuck won't tell me :)

    A little birdy over at the Irvine Canon facility whispered a secret to me Andy...

    It said, The Canon 1DsMarkIII isnt gonna be cheep cheep!

    Or something like that. :D

    I tried in vain to get an answer from my buds there while I was in there getting the info on the recall of the 1DMIII body and which ones would be affected (also struck out getting info there) and they are just not saying much.

    I fully expect to have one in my hands by the end of the year. But I want my toys NOW!

    Yeah, we haven't been able to find out much info either. I've asked Canon reps, local and not so local camera store owners, CPS and they either don't know (which is most probable) or won't tell...

    Scott at Tallyn's tells me that his Canon rep is still saying mid-November.... not much else to report though ne_nau.gif

    Scott Tallyn from Tallyn's Photographic just rang me with nice news, my 1Ds Mark III will ship overnight to me tomorrow (it came in too late to ship out today)... I'll have it Thursday :)

    What about the 5d Mark II?
    Has anyone heard any updates on when this might be announced? Last I heard was towards the end of November....which is well....NOW'ish!

    I doubt they'll announce a 5D follow on until PMA in February...

    Don't they know I don't want to wait that long? The rumors of a soonish announcement had me excited for what might be coming to the 5D line. Oh well....
