I received this in my e-mail (I bought a diffuser from him a year ago +/- so I'm in his mailing list :rolleyes ). Anyway, thought this might create some interesting conversation:
THE AWESOME GARY FONG ORIGAMI™ DIFFUSER
Yup, I'm going to run right out and get one today!!

gotta give the guy credit though; he makes stuff that works just so-so, markets the hell out of it, and makes $$$. commendable. sort of.

Still, I'd like to know how the Origami performs. I'd been eyeing it (since it's been three weeks, and I still can't find my Lightsphere! :hide)

I have the Demb Diffuser. Not sure how it compares to the Origami Diffuser.. and it doesn't fit in my pocket, but it does make an attractive head-dress...

I love my lumiquest pocket bouncer which is the same as this and for 19.95 plus you buy the cinch strap for 6.95 or you can get the lumiquest kit for 30.95 (still need the cinch strap) (although it does come with velcro tape I didn't want to attach it to my flash permanently)

I actually bought a simple diffuser before I saw the lumiquest and the bouncer has been indispensible - I get great indoor portraits and photos with it - but I here what you are saying - decide what works best for you and how you want to carry it - I give bonus pints to anything that folds flat.
