Has anybody ever been there and do you have any photos of the place. We're thinking about stopping by there or maybe working there a couple months.

It is pretty restrictive, plan accordingly. I have not been there, it is a pretty far drive from where I live in Maine... but the area is beautiful from what my outdoorsy co workers tell me...

Have only driven thru a couple of times and really really wanted to stop but didn't have the time.

If you like thick woods, nice bogs, ponds and trails - you'll like Moosehorn. I would love to shoot there in the fog (which is frequent).

    it looks like
It looks like it would be roughly 5 hours from Portland. If you take Rt 9 (also known as the airline rd) make sure you stop at Mace's for a double heart attack cheeseburger. The airline road has some beautiful spots to view wildlife.
