430EX and Lightsphere?

Hi

I’m looking to buy a Gary Fong cloudy Lightsphere for my canon 430EX.
However, their website indicates that the C3 or C4 sizes are both possible.
(C3 in the chart and C4 in the text at the foot of the page)

I was just wondering if anyone else has one for their 430ex and which size fits best – as I’ve heard people mention that it can, at times, fall off the flash.

Thanks

We HAD a C3 and it fit like it should but still kept falling off. We had much better results using a homemade foamie diffuser. The results were better in the images and it didn't fall off either.

I generally either have a "foamie" of some sort or a Demb product on my flashes most of the time I am using them.

    Thanks all.

I've alread paid the money so C3 it is - but I'll be keen to play around with the home made kits to see the difference...

I had the c3 and it kept falling off. I got pieces of velcro and took them appart. I then took the parts that are stiffer, not the fuzzy side if that makes sense. I took the two harder pieces and stuck them on the lip of the LS and that made it tight enough so it would not fall off.

    Thanks for the tip.
It has finally arrived and after an hour or two of playing around with it - it doesnt seem to be slipping off at all. I dont know if its down to the cold Scottish weather or if the general malleability increases excessively with age - but I'll certainly keep the tip in mind.
