    Hey, George.

    This looks more like a painting than a photograph - sort of a cross between Norman Rockwell (the people going about their lives and the waitress's big smile) and Edward Hopper (the colors and the two guys sitting at the table on the right). Even though it is clearly contemporary, it has a 1940s-Route 66 feel to it. I enjoy looking at it.

    I agree with Virginia....this does have a 40's feel to it. Reminds me of Happy Days! It reminds me of simpler times. I like it! :saurora

    At first I was going to say how over-contrasty I felt it to be. I know how fond you are of strong contrast, George.

    But as I look at it from a different perspective, I also see something that looks hyper-real.

    And that's pretty cool.
