These shots are brilliant Brian....the dew is amazing and looks like the fly has stepped out of a bubble bath.....complete with the bubbles!

Turtle WAX?
Wow that one looks as if he just came out of a car wash, and payed extra for the turtle wax. Very cool the way its beads the water. How do you get so close?

With the naked eye people would never see dewdrops.
I'm stunned at just how many there are, and how they have not joined to make one larger wet patch.

Almost felt sorry for this cranefly.

TRP- Normally you just have to approach bugs carefully and slowly but in reality this cranefly was not going to go anywhere in a hurry- would have been to cold to fly.

Well you have done it again Brian. There is no end to your photo talents. I will say you certainly give me the urge to investigate but there is no way I can come any where near any of your photos.

Way Cool !! It is amazing what we miss in the "normal" sized world. Macro is a wonderful medium. Seeing images like these just reminds me that there is another smaller world all around. I think the dew drops on this crane fly are just beautiful.
