Wide Angle .42X adapter lens (the cheap ones on eBay)

Maybe a stupid question... and I probably just answered myself, but anyone have ANY experience with these $38 adapters ? I guess they just attach to the regualr kit lens...lol

I have not used this particular lens - however I have tried a different brand. My experience was that it was not near the quality of a true DSLR lens. However, for the price you don't have much to lose by trying. Your call.
