This past spring, a local high school team held it's spring jamboree. One of the players is regarded as the top or one of the top recruits in the nation. Needless to say, he drew a crowd. There's also some ex NFL players as well.

Here's the guy they were watching. He's the one drawing double coverage.

Wow... I really love this shot, it almost has a three dimensional feel. Very nice!

His name is Julio Jones. ESPN 2 broadcast one of the games, Daphne vs Foley. It featured Jones for Foley and Corey White of Daphne, who's brother is Pat White, QB of West Virginia. Both are being recruited, but Jones is regarded as one of the players that can be a gamebreaker.

Thanks! I wish I had hair to die! I am going to the LSU-Bama game this weekend. LSU fans still have a man crush on Saban so it is going to be an interesting weekend in T-town.

The guy talking to Saban is Leroy Jordan. He was number 55 for the Dallas Cowboys.

    some great pics-

that kid has to be something to draw those coaches there-

seeing stabler reminds me of the time he threw a pass out-of-bounds to stop the clock against tennessee-

it was 7 to 7 with the clock winding down and the tide's kicker was getting ready for a field goal-

only thing is, stabler's out-of-bounds pass was fourth down!-

this really doesn't take away from what a great quarterback he was, though-

I was just giving you a little ribbing about Saban. He's a good college coach. Although he does have a history of leaving behind a lot of broken
hearts wherever he leaves. . .

Anyway not trying to hijack the thread . . . back to the pics -- Thay are
fantastic. It's fun to see this kind of sports thread.

    Who's the guys in pic 7 and 8 . . .Don't recognize those 2 . .

    Thanks
