How do I get this photo to display in the message body?

turn external links on for the gallery in question.

sandwich the filename inbetween and

tags.

Remove the * and you will get this....

I must be doing something stupid! I type in this,
[img][/img]http://bodley.smugmug.com/photos/16882520-S-2.jpg
No luck. So I copied in this from GREAPER and removed the "*"
[*img]http://bodley.smugmug.com/photos/16882520-S-2.jpg[*/img]
and it worked.

When the "*" are removed it looks just like what I typed in to start with. So I took the one that worked from GREAPER and typed in the instead of just removing the "*" and wha-la now it doesn't work.

It must be the bracket I am using - I'm using the unshifted keys just right of my P key. Is this correct?

Why do you think this [img][/img]http://bodley.smugmug.com/photos/16882520-S-2.jpg didn't work?

I was originally using your example: [*url=http://www.moonriverphotography.com/photos/newexif.mg?ImageID=11909504*] [*img]http://www.moonriverphotography.com/photos/11909504-S.jpg[*/img] [*/url]

When I entered my url into your example (with removed *) I would get "[img][/img]http://bodley.smugmug.com/photos/16882520-S-2.jpg" displayed and when you clicked in the you would get the exif data (as shown in original post). Any suggestions?

worked when I re-typed the whole thing instead of cut and paste
