Slideshow software that will output Quicktime

I'm looking for some sort of software that will take a series of images and export them as a Quicktime, but the difficult thing is for me is that I want the QT to be 720x480, in other words, DV resolution. I can get iPhoto and Motion Pictures to output 640x480. This is no good for me.

Mac or Windows software is ok—thanks for your help.

Lightroom will do this (and a lot more). You'd export to QT from the Mac within the slideshow module.

A really good app for converting/compressing QTs is VisualHub.

you got me excited, Andrew, but I cannot find a way to do Quicktimes. The main Export Slideshow command gives me a PDF and just choosing "Export..." from the File menu is for image files (JPG, DNG, TIFF, etc).

    Are you sure about this?

That's all I see also (PDF), however I am on a Vista machine and Andrew did say "from the Mac"... I also wonder if you might have to have the full QuickTime application loaded for Lightroom to see it and use some of it's libraries to create the .MOV file. Just suppositions I guess.

I'm on Macs (and run Parallels) and it's on a machine that runs post-production video all day, so I know QT is good to go.

In an attempt to redeem myself, I will point out that this little gem will build a QT movie of ANYTHING you can play on your display:

I use this for screen captures but it will do movies too.
