After viewing such outstanding portraits posted in this forum, I wanted to share a couple of mine taken recently...I use an Olympus DSLR (E300) and a homemade reflector...

She has the most beautiful eyes, and you've done a nice job with the light. Lovely!

WOW! That first one really gets me! Lovely lighting, expression and pose. Perfect DOF. I like the second one too, the first just has a perfected quality about it. Lovely work!

    Carlos,

    Welcome to Smugmug!

I haven't seen these on DPR- they're great.

Your daughter is growing into a lovely young lady from a beautiful little girl.

My DPR "handle" is R, Valentino :D

    Hey Gene !
    what a pleasant surprise !

I always love seeing shots of your kids, even when you take them with a Nikon

    :-)

Thanks for your comments, and thanks for sharing that shot, now all you need is to set the camera with a timer and include the wife in it...

    :D

    Thanks a lot...

This sure made my day ! I really appreciate it.

    :D

It's available light (North side window),I pressed the shutter at the right moment...I've been taking pics for a long time, friends kids,birthdays,et...etc. Sometimes they did not want me to take pics of their kids, literally I put my camera away until 1988 when I started travelling back to El Salvador.

Finnally I was blessed with my daughter, my only daughter...so I lost count of all the shots I've taken of her and my wife. It has become a very pleasant and relaxing activity for me.

    Thanks again,

    Carlos
