This is a great time of year in the northwest for photography. There's just enough daylight, the lighting is contrasty, and the rainy deluge has not kicked in fulltime for the usual five months (or is it six?).
Just my ferry ride home from work, figuring out my new Pentax K10D and using my favorite 25 yr old Pentax SMC "M" 135mm at f8, 1/500, ISO 400.
