Hey Everyone,

I mainly just lurk for the most part but I had a quick question. I misplaced, probably packed on accident, my battery charger for my 30d when I moved recently and I was looking to buy another in the near future. Since I still have my house charger (somewhere...) I was thinking about getting one for the car. Has anyone ordered any of these?

It looks like this --- http://www.sterlingtek.com/canbp511acba.html?engine=adwords!2467&keyword=%28bp+511+charger%29&match_type=&gclid=CIe879ynvo8CFSBMGgod1HTmXw --- would work but I just wanted to get other people's advice since I'm sure someone has bought one somewhere.

Thank you,

Jon

Jon

Sorry I should've done a search on the website first... although I didn't find one specifically stating one about the charger I did find that a couple of people have ordered their batteries so I went ahead and ordered it.

I recently ordered this charger and two batteries from SterlingTech. They arrived this week. I used the charger to charge the two batteries on arrival. Seems fine to me. I haven't tried the 12 volt cord yet. I also haven't used the batteries in the 40D yet.
The built-in LED flashlight may prove useful. There was no manual with it but the charging LED glows red while charging, and turns green when it is finished. There is no charge level indication like that on the Canon charger.
