Wordpress/SmugMug using Flickr widget

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I was so excited that it worked. Not sure if this is the right forum, since it really isn't that technical, but I guess someone will move it if it is in the wrong place. :D

i know this isn't very technical or anything, but i don't know anything about API, etc. i have a wordpress blog and i used to have flickr because i LOVED the widget. i just dislike flickr.

i don't use the customize CSS option, just a template that has some widgets, one of them being flickr. i was bummed to lose it, but decided to try to put a smugmug feed in it and it worked. i just used the RSS feed from the gallery i wanted. i put that into where i used to put my flickr feed in the flickr widget and it works.

i guess i will have to update it each month because i will want the most recent pics, but it works for me, but i am not sure. i used the recent pics feed. i don't mind the extra step because otherwise, i have no widget. if they want to see more pics, they just click on the widget.

might be a simple option for those of us who aren't very technical. until smugmug and wordpress maybe get a widget just for us smugmug users. :bow

Thanks for the info... I'd appreciate a little more detail if you'd be so kind! Where did you get this widget? Does it have a name? URL? Cheers!
