But after the rain spring is rearing its head hear in SoCal. Which I could go to Death Valley :cry :cry
I guess I'll have to settle for a side street and some ice plants.
Heres a pretty picture to share:

Very nice shot. Excellent use of a shallow DOF, The focus on the shot is just about perfect. clap.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I have not posted here for a very long, but I sure know of your images. In fact I've never commented on any. I just can't seem to find the right words, there all so "pristine", yeah, I guess thats a word.

So, for you to stop and enjoy mine, and then verify that I delivered the way I saw it, is high praise indeed!! clap.gifIf I ever get to meet you, drinks on me1drink.gif

Erik, Strictly speaking I don't think they are "Flowers". The purple ones are "Ice Plants" the city plants them all over the place around here, especially along the Freeways. I heard once that because there kinda like cactus (no thorns) retain water there here for fire retartent and soil erosion. Our two biggest worries, Fires, Earthquakes!! eek7.gifne_nau.gifrofl

It's weird how living in Sunny Calif. I at least really enjoy seeing all those cold snowy images. Makes me remember how neat and clean everything looks and how the snow feels in your hands dry/wet/crunchy all at the same time. And Yes I also remember how old, cold and down right dangerous it can get and quick too. :uhoh

Now about your Avatar, is that a D2X or one of those D2MK11 (something like that) your looking for, would not want to offend either camp :hide (May join myself soon!!thumb.gif). :lol4:lol4

Thanks for enjoying my shot. clap.gif

Love those colours. I'm looking forward to Spring now, although it seems a long way off at the moment.
    Excellent photograph.
