First wedding shoot

I shot my first wedding this week. I used my D80 with the rented 17-55 f/2.8. The SB-800 was on a stand with a shoot through umbrella, or on the camera with a Demb bracket, Demb diffuser/flip-it and a SC-29 cable.

Here is one of my favorite shots in the AZ sunset. It would have been nice to have 2 speedlights, but it came out well.

1/200
f/5.0
ISO 100
SB-800 on light stand, camera right, 7ft up.

I think I would be over the moon if I got a shot like that at the first wedding I shot! I'm sure the B&G will be too! clap.gif

Gorgeous shot and nice processing as well to get the sky looking like that. Great work......

Believe it or not, I didn't do any processing specifically to the sky. I just did some basic curves adjustments and softened it up a it.

Nice. As said already, they cannot be unhappy with that.

The capture of the moment with the sky needs not just luck, but planning and technique.
