This is typically one of my favorite events in San Francisco all year, the Mexican Day of the Dead combines traditional catholic beliefs with trappings of ancient Mayan folklore. While the hispanic community of the city is very much the focal point, cultures found all across the city join in the festivities to celebrate and remember the loved, lost.
Please enjoy.
While most of these wre me hoofing it with my 50mm, iso 3200 and a dash of onboard flash, once the parade arrived at Garfield Park, I was able to get the tripod out for some long exposures.
Thank you for looking at thse. If you would like to see more, the full gallery is here: http://www.tylerwinegarner.com/gallery/3763497#P-1-15
