Why on earth would you think that?

Many people look and don't comment, but they still appreciate it thumb.gif

Were you using a gold reflecter, camera right? There is a nice warm 'sunset' like tone to her face...

Nope! No reflector! I used a Metz flash, we were in a doorway in shadow, but outdoors....

Nice image but I would have liked to see a slightly larger image to show more detail. Just my thoughts

    Good Morning,
This is a really good shot. Kinda reminds me a little bit of the Mona Lisa. The eyes and the lips come to mind.
    Have a good day,
    Jim...

This is beautiful altho it seems like the darks of the hair and the hat are really blocked up and could use some work to separate the tones in the hair.

This is a great photo, I love the lighting... she is gorgeous... I do agree with the above quote regarding the hat and hair...

According to my monitor (and yes its calibrated) I can distinctly see the difference between the hat and hair...headscratch.gif

I can see the difference, they just both seem very inky.

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of different tonal values in the hair. It all looks very, very black without the interplay of verious tones of light on the surface that even the darkest hair has when it reflects the light.

Wow thats really odd! eek7.gif On my end I see a little bit of brown highlights on the ends of her hair, I can see the patterns in her hat and even the distinct fuzziness of it! headscratch.gif I wonder if anyone else sees what either of us sees? ne_nau.gif
