Continuing my glacier postprocessing in a totally random order...
My flight (delayed over an hour) consisted of two legs: one hop to Salt Lake City (SLC) in Boeing 737 and another one to Kalispel in tiny Canadian Regional Jet.
My brand new 40D was less than a week old, so I gave it a whurl fom the air...
1: Famous LAX' "spider":
2: Takeoff into Pacific:
3: River meanders:
4: Big qaurry just next to SLC:
5: Salt Lake reflections:

Thanks, Steph!
I think one needs to fly the poodlejumpers (10,000 ft or lower) to get anything decent. Otherwise you're too high from the ground and you also get a lot of frost on the windows.
