Mission San Juan Capistrano

Tee Why

San Juan is one of the Spanish Missions that were erected to protect the travelers and to convert the natives to Catholicism.

A relatively old building for California, now it mainly serves as a historic landmark for visitors.

Went with an ultrawide and a macro to see what I can get today. Here are the shots from today.

2 and 3 are the best of the bunch, but #2 really does it...great use of DOF to separate the main subject.

wow thanks all. I'd like to have more opening shots with an ultrawide, but haven't found a way to make the place look as good with a wide view. Close up stuff is easier for me to shoot currently.
