    lol :D good for you....

I can only see 1 photo though, the navigation is a big too "edgy" for me. I need arrows, click here buttons, or something... let me know if you figure out the rest. headscratch.gif

lol ! the arrows are on each side of the photo, with very sliiight opacity..

I'm no expert, but I do like the web design-

    simple, but effective-

your portfolio (photos, drawings, etc) is very nice, and I especially enjoyed the bw portraits-

please consider posting some of them directly on the forum here-

Hi there! I like the website design...elegant and simple. You're a very talented artist, both with pencil and camera. I hope you post more work here on DGrin so we can keep up. :):

I need more contrast too -- I only see one photo and no where to go.

edit: okay, now I see the faint arrows. Yeah, I need more clues for navigation :)

Yes I see them now... perhaps you should think about picking a different color for the arrows...like GREEN. I had to look close to see the arrows. THe RED arrows just blend with the wording. Just my opinion.

Just three comments that may not be worth the time it takes to write it -
    • The reversed letters were/are a little off-putitng. I was trying to figure out what language this might have been written in - until I decided that it was english and just a trick.
    • There needs to be, IMO, some more seperation between the menus words - they all run together and I found them to be more than a little confusing. Same with the spelling - confusing.
    • The flash production seems to be very good and didn't take a long time to download before it was running.

    Nice flash site bowdown.gif

Your Quick Bio is a bit pointless to me, and in grammatically poor English. I would get rid of it completely, as your outstanding illustrations are your best Bio... I don't need or want to know that you are a young student who has travelled x% of the globe in a gap year headscratch.gif

Talking about your best work, I would filter out some of the photos.. most are good, some are great, a few are snapshots (just MY honest opinion).

Like others, I found myself reaching for the back button.. only to be confounded and having to remember how the site worked... where the back 'area' was hidden. Perhaps a permanent and unchanging visual would help?

A way to get viewers to a buy option for prints, etc, would be nice thumb.gif

I don't mind the reverse text, etc, but can't see the relevance of the communist theme ne_nau.gif Where's the catchline?

First thank you all for ur critics, it's always good to have other point of views.
    :)

Scott: i like the idea of separation between the word, so ppl would think of it more as a button/section than a title. Im glad u mention the speed of the loader, cause i worked a lot on the size of it keeping it very low (15kb!)

Hyperbaric: Sorry for my english lol . well ill be sending my application around brussels & paris, so i guess it's ok as long as i dont send them to english teachers, hehe. The site is also made for people to know more about me, my background, and like a hobby/sport/activity section on a curriculum i thought
employers would have a wider sight of my personality.

im working on that back button.

well ill be happy to sell some prints, but i dont think it's that good, hehe. still have a lot to learn..

about the reverse text, well as the site is not only about photography
but about graphics too, i decided to go for a stylish presentation.
I wanted a title composition, with big and bold police propaganda like.
i put the iconographic & patriotic stuff away and rather present the whole thing in a sober, design way. Not much to about politic stuff or philosophy.
    :D

mmmh maybe u do, maybe u dont... the site is build on IE explorer 6 and firefox 1.0 standards, should be ok if u have flash player. now, a computer can differs a lot from another...
i had to make concessions making a 100% flash site. it could 've been plain html or css, but adressing my work to studios i had to complicate things a little. :D
