Canon 40D (w/ EF 28-135 Lens Kit) sale at CircuitCity-$1259 (w/ grand opening disc.)
I just picked up the 40D with the 28-135 lens kit for $1259. Regular price $1499 - $100 (sale this week-any CC store or online) - 10% (grand opening discount here in the Atlanta area) = $1259.
I asked the manager if the grand opening discount was available to people who couldn't get to this particular store and he said he thinks it is if you call to order the camera. Just like you can order on the CC web site and then pick it up at the store. He said you should be able to order it to that store and then have it shipped. Not sure how true that is, but that is what he said. The store is the Paulding Station location in Hiram, Ga. Tel: (770) 222-1427.
Anyway, just thought I would pass on the deal to everyone here. I've got a 40D now!! woohoo! I'm very excited. Now I have a brand new EF 28-135 lens for sale also - I'm replacing it with the 24-70 f/2.8L. Anyone interested, PM me.
