A few Ospreys

A collection of some Ospreys over the last week, the two diving shots are far from perfect, but are interesting to me for the moment. It's my work in progress to capture them hitting the water in focus.

Hi William.. Wonderful shots. The diving shots are excellent (they all are). I've seen them dive a couple times, it is a real experience.
#4 and #5 are terrific. Anyone that hasn't seen an Osprey dive doesn't know how hard it would be to track them going at about 70 mph straight down. Sometimes I wonder how they survive the impact.
Congrats on the great captures !!!..clap.gifclap.gif

Absolute first rate shots. Excellent shots of one of my favorite birds to shoot. Your dive captures and coming back up out of the water shots are some of the best I've seen. I know that getting it all right on those type shots isn't easy. Well done!

Absolutely a beautiful series. Photographing ospreys is probably my favourite passtime. I love these majestic birds and you have done them justice.

Thanks Chris, they are really fast as you know, but with more practice maybe I can improve the impact shot.
