Hiking through such a lovely place alone must be such a refreshing, zen experience.

I love the vista, with the peaceful mist. It's gorgeous! The blue cast is bothering me, however, especially as you said this was in the summer and I'd expecting something warmer.

Nice shot, and looks like a blue cast to me also. As it was early in the morning, some cameras auto white balance can get fooled and generate bluish cast. I usually have to set my camera white balance to 'Shade' or 'Cloudy' for early or late in the day if I'm not shooting raw to compensate for that.
