Anyone using a Dye Sub printer for prints size about 6x4?

I see Canon have a couple that are very reasonably priced,
like the Canon SELPHY CP-510 and CP-710.

Do Epson, Kodak, HP etc have them too?

I'd be interested in some feed back from those of you who have one.

i have a kodak one that i bought last year to print 4x6 pictures w/ santa. it worked well and found the image quality was very good, good saturation, good skin tones, and the price per print in bulk was around $.35 i think? i haven't used it since then... it's boxed up somewhere; haven't had the need since...

    I like mine!
Skippy I have one thats a couple of years old. Cannon Selphy XXX not sure what the model number is I am at work and it is at home. The one I have has a battery pack that lets you print about 30 pictures out in the field directly from your camera (if it has pic bridge). I use it as a promotional thing. When I go out and cover one of my brothers adventure races I print out some pictures of the winners as a prize. This gets my website mentioned by the race directors. It gives great prints. Plus the paper is a post card, a few of the race winners have sent the pictures they received to family members..... which is more advertisement for me. MM

I use an Olympus P10, and I love it. Very fast. Much more durable images than inkjet images. I have used one of the Canon ones and it worked extremely well. Here are some great reviews:

I have a small Canon one:

and really, really love it. I use it to really wow guests when they come over. I take a few shots, disappear into the back room and give them out as dinner gifts. I use some small plastic frames from Walmart and everyone is quite surprised that this is possible. (Funny, but we are really geeks to most people!)

Good quality, farily clear printing, and very durable prints.

I highly recommend them as a quicky soultion to a few prints. I wouldnt do a large set with one, but for an instant viewer of a couple, its great.

THe quality is definately better than a Walgreens type print service.

Thank you .... I just want it to print 6x4 every now and then instead of having to go into town.

The camera store in town has specials throughout the year of 10x8 prints for around $2 a print, so if I had something I wanted as a larger print I'd just wait till they advertised their special prices.
