I like the zoomrange 18-55 but my kitlens (pentax) isn´t that great to be honest. Allthough i was thinking on the sigma 18-50..it dosnt cost much but maby its sharper and have better quality feeling all over it?.

Does anyone know something about this lens? ( sigma 18-50 ).

Have a nice day!

The Pentax "kit" lens is one of the better cheap standard zooms around (unless yours has a problem). The Sigma you mention would probably be a small step down in quality.

The Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC Macro is available in Pentax mount and it is a very good value.

    Da*
I've had the kit lens for two years; it's good, not great, and the best quality kit lens out there.
I would consider the sigma 17-70 and even more, the new Pentax DA* 16-50 USM model that is as weatherproof as your K10D. A fair number of folks are dealing their fairly new 17-70s for the DA* lens and you may be able to pick up a used one reasonably.
