    yes. the 50/1.8 came in an earlier mkI version with a metal mount, the current mkII is now plastic-mount.

    50 f1.8 = nifty fifty
    I have not seen many of the Mk1's for sale and the one that I recall, sold fo about as much as a used f1.4.
