Cool pics of birds we certainly don't see around here. On the white-throated critter, is his upper beak broken, or is it supposed to be like that?

i suspect its broken ! although these are from the Bronx Zoo - they're definetly difficult to capture in the low light....

    Very nice Troy ^5
WooooooHoooooo, these are some beauties thumb.gifthumb.gif The bee eaters are outstanding clap.gif Good work in tough lighting ylsuper.gif

Troy, don't sweat the "high scalp to hair ratio". Lots of us have that problem. Why do you think I'm always seen wearing a hat? :lol

I am amazed. How can two ugly dewds, like you and Andy, have such adorable children? lol3.gif I guess you married right. mwink.gif Those 2 are so cute in that one pic, I'm thinking you should get them together again for another shoot. While not as colorful as these birds, they sure have great smiles clap.gif

Thanks for sharing these Troy and Andy. As for the "ugly dewd" comment, that's a case of the pot calling the kettle black blbl.gif
