Problems with my photogenic stob/battery

I just bought a Photogenic AC/DC Strobe and I am trying to hook it up to a Quantum Turbo Battery Pack. Some said there is a certain way you have to cennect them, and turn the units on. I had them working at one point, but then disconnected them and now the Battery pack just flashes. Anyone know the secret? Please Help!
