Not Getting DG Notifications

Hi all.

Seems I'm not getting notified from my suscribed forums. Am I doing something wrong? :scratch

Probably not. Our Dgrin servers are groaning at the moment, and our Ops crew are installing some load balancers. Could be a side effect.

I checked your settings, and they seem right. You are sure that your email is correct and you've checked your spam filters?

Yep. I've even tried changing the email. Still doesn't work. And my account went weird the other day too. Might be related? It wouldn't let me post until Smug Help set things right.

No, not gremlins. When you change your email you get kicked back out to "Awaiting email Verification" status, i.e. restricted from posting.

In the future, if you change your email again, put a post in the requests to moderators thread, and we'll fix you up.

I've sent you an email reminder (the closest thing I can do to sending you a subscription notification). Let me know if you receive it.

Interesting. I'll do that. But I was having this problem before I changed the address, Nothing from you yet?

K, then chances are good that something's b0rked. It should have sent immediately. But, with Andy's comments about the load balancing, let's give it a little longer, and see if you get it.

Feel free to email me about this, especially if you want to send me private info, like a new email address. Meanwhile, we'll investigate on this end.

I too am not getting notifications of posts to my subscribed threads. This has been how it's been since I registered.

Have you double checked your (You!) user control panel settings? And, that you are not blocking mail from us somehow?

Your settings are "Subscribe with no notification." You need to change that setting to Instant email notification, of Daily email notification, or Weekly email notification in order to be notified.
