Question about Blurb Photos

I really like partnership between SmugMug and Blurb – great idea Smuggy! I wasn’t fast enough to get the coupon code for a free book, but they are still offering free/discounted shipping. My question has to do with the image size sent from SmugMug to Blurb for the photo book.
I have limited the viewing size for many of my galleries to Medium or Large. If I then select pictures from these galleries for my book, are the images transferred to Blurb also limited in size per the Gallery settings, or will my Original image file be sent to Blurb for the book?
I have a feeling this could significantly impact the overall quality of the book if I order a large book but the images sent to Blurb are limited in size due to my gallery settings. Thanks in advance for your assistance with this.
