Yowza! :eek1 Great detail on these shots, William. They bring you right there.
You know, I still remember when I got introduced to your work. It was on those magnificent eagle series that you were posting last year. Well, you're doing it again with these ospreys. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Joel, I'm not finished with these critter yet, but I hope they don't leave soon.
Thanks Al, you may find it interesing that I shot the first image at ISO 100, and the last two at ISO 500, with almost the same detail. I've been trying out higher ISO's with the D200, and so far I'm up to 800 and a few at 1000 in daylight in order to get the shutter speed higher. If the exposure is right on it works, but I've thrown out a lot lately.
Very nice shots William. What lens did you use? The detail is excellent.
Cheers

Thank you Bob. I use a Nikon D200 with a 300 f4, sometimes with a 1.4 TC, but not on these three. The first was ISO 100 on a tripod, the second ISO 500 on a tripod, and the last ISO 500 hand-held. I'm glad you like them.

Thanks very much Chris, since they're not here year round I'll keep shooting them until they migrate from the Basin.
