I would recommend a Color Vision Spyder. I use one - works great!

I've used the Color Vision Spyder for a number of years on multiple computers, both desktops and laptops. I've yet to have a problem getting it installed and working - takes just a couple of minutes for the install. It takes 10-15 minutes for a complete calibration job. I couldn't be happier!

They have drivers for both 32-bit Windows (WinXP) and 64-bit Windows (both XP and Vista) and for Mac.

I use the Spyder2Pro, but I think Color Vision has an even newer version out recently. Seems to work very well on my 23 inch Cinema Display and my laptops.
