Out looking for a reason to practice the craft. Thought I would try and get
as good a shot as I had seen from someone elses effort.
Not nearly as easy as I thought it would be. Michael

Are the fish actually chewing at the flower?
Fish usually keep moving so they are not easy to focus on.
You captured a lot of different colours here.
I see you shot this on ISO 1600 as well, yet the shot doesn't look like
it's outside or in the shade at all?
It's pretty clean for a 1600 ISO shot .... Skippy

Was outside in very bright light. Forgot to mention I did have
polorizer on as I only just now recalled that small bit. Oops.
After a couple dozen shots and blurry results, bad DOF, fish
in poor positions, I decided
the only way to handle it was to crank up the ISO to 1600 and
go f10. That should stop the action right quick enough.
Finally a couple of maybe keepers came along. Felt like I should
have been using a movie camera and grabbed a suitable single
somewhere in the take. Amazing what ISO 1600 will do theses days.
We spiked the cool aid so's to speak. Fish food dropped in around
the flower. Some got caught up in the pedals and like good little
puppies the fish were not about to let that go.
Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. Michael
