Perhaps this thread belongs in the "Journeys" forum because the images and their descriptions form a narrative; and not every shot here is a portrait (although most are.) Moderators, feel free to move this if you deem so.
A few weeks ago, on my way home from work and after picking up my youngest son from daycare I decided to stop at a place called the Old Pearl Brewery here in San Antonio to try to conduct a mini "photo shoot" in the fading light.
#1 The fountain in front of the old stables provided a good distraction to keep my young son still.
#2 I also wanted to experiment with "diagonal" style compositions
#3 Another attempt at a "diagonal" composition
#4 Unfortunately, he began to spin around and he fell and scraped up his nose. After sniffling for a few minutes he was soon back to running around all over the place.
#5 See, he's good as new!
#6 Soon thereafter, he and his frog were done with the picture taking and they promptly marched away.
#7 This is the place
#8 We stuck around to watch the sunset over the old brewery grounds.
C&C is welcome and appreciated. Thnx.
