I'm having a hard time putting my finger as to why, but there's something I really enjoy about "Wigs for Sale": - it may be a very good recipient for a lomographic treatment or Andy's Tri-X post processing.

I understand what you mean, Tyler. I think it might be the long necks, but I'm not sure. I did very little PP on this one, so I'll check out your suggestions. Thanks. thumb.gif

Well... since they've started blocking Smugmug at work, I unfortunately get less and less time to visit here... Back to the point, though...

Very nice set. For me - #2 by far is the most interesting, and the last one is by far - the least interesting one.

Always nice to see your street photo's

    Cheers!

I have to say that I noticed something rather ironic in picture #4. The woman is dressed in all black, which many of my aunts and great aunts in Croatia wore. The reason they wore all black was because they were in mourning over the loss of either a child or husband.

The irony here is the old woman walking wearing all black (in mourning), while just above her is a sign that says "Joy".

I love #4 the best because not just because of the irony, but the composition as well.

    Well Done!! clap.gif

Thanks a lot, Joe. Black dress has the same meaning in Spain. Although it isn't all that easy to tell, this particular woman is a nun, and the irony was intentional.
