zoo pics
Went to the zoo yesterday and got a few pics. Now the bigger animals are double cages, meaning they have one cage, and there's a fence that you have to stand 3 feet away (which doesn't help for good picture taking). So when no one was looking, I'd hop the first fence so I could stick my lense through the wires while hubs kept lookout. :rofl
First one is ducks! This ducky was so cute and posing just for me! :P

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Ducks come in the most wonderful colors dont they

Nice work on those ducksicles That first one looks like a relative of the AFLAC duck :lol He's even got the cocked head look down pat....lol
I can see the ducks being left out in the cold, but it must be tough on those big cats :uhoh (I liked that shot too )
Thanks for sharing these,

I wish shot #1 would have come out sharper. I really don't know why it didn't, the duck wasn't that far away.. But I just had to keep it because of the expression! :P
The cats actually really like the winter weather! They grow in nice winter coats, and they're much more active minus the sweltering heat.
@ Steve...errr the problem WAS that that we were giving them crackers... There were about a hundred of them...and two of us... :uhoh
We had to leave as they were starting to chase us down when our supply ran dry!
