Emailing URL for customized slideshow

Every time I email a slideshow URL in the format below, I have to explain to the receiver that they need to click the box to show captions, then change the timing from 3 seconds to 5 seconds.

http://www.smugmug.com/photos/sspopup.mg?AlbumID=xxxxxxx

Is there a way to specify slideshow settings with the URL? That way I could just give them a link without instructions.

    No, there's not. But we're planning on making this all better. I can't say when but it's a priority for us, for sure.
