October in Colorado

We spent the first week of October roaming around central Colorado; Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, Leadville and Twin Lakes area, and Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak. These are just a few items that caught my eye as I browsed through our week's worth of images. As you can see, the weather was great, the aspens were in full color with a light dusting of snow in the mountains...

The Twin Lake areas are gorgeous. I don't know if you had a chance to get to
Independence Pass or to spend any time in Buena Vista but both places are
    very pretty.
