Well I set out last year to get myself the best Birding Lens I could afford!
No easy task cuz anything decent over 300mm runs into some $$$$
Quite happy with the Sigy EX DG APO OS 80-400mm I got.
This year I managed to get some shots of Birds I rarely even seen just out with my Binoc's Birding here.
Here are 3 of my Fav's from this year!
(When ya Post yours make mention of the lens ya used if ya would)
Black Billed CooCoo
I have only seen one other time years ago!
Heard it down back of my property and managed to find Him.
VERY elusive Bird!
Rose Breasted Grosbeak
While these are fairly common in my area they are very hard to find.
This one was at my Feeders and when up in a Tree.
Managed to get some great shots of em....was only there for a few seconds!!
House Wren
Yeah I know it's a Common Bird but......
I always wanted a nice close up of one and they are tough cuz they are very jumpy and don't stay in one spot long.
Esp when your near the House they are nesting in!
(Had 2 batches of babies this Summer again)
The reach of my 400mm afforded me this option finally! :thumb
