Bird photography has been slow, so here are my new cats

These two were picked up as strays. We took them in, got them shots and dewormed them. Now they are growing nicely and are healthy. The calico is about year old. The grey tabby is only 9 weeks.

Patches refuses to drink water from her bowl. She likes to go outside and get water from our inflatable pool. :dunno

Gracie sleeping which she does most of the time

Patches is a good mouser. She has already brought to us very proudly two from the garden.

I hope to have some nice bird captures to post soon, but in the meantime these will have to suffice. :D

Thanks Russ. We try. I am sucker for a stray that needs a home. We try to find no-kill shelters or just take them in. We have taken in 3 animals since living where we are. All of which were taken in within the last seven years with these two cats just being within the last month.

Yeah, it is not a good combination, but most of the birds are too fast. It will make for good action shots though. mwink.gif

Thanks Harv. That is why I have a problem saying no. I just wish more people would spay and neuter their animals unless they are breeding with a purpose.

Meh. Most of the birds that I photograph are definitely not in my yard. Anyhow, Patches is a good mouser. Those field mice keep her plenty busy.
