Me and my firends took a walk today in this superb weather. I brought my entire camerabag wich i usually don´t . After a good cup of coffe we wen´t birdhunting! This is my first ever,, EVER birdphoto.

The lens Tamron 70-300 seems to work pretty well for the low price. Think i will see if i like this birdthingy. If i do = better lens.

Anyways here is the pic!.

C & C plz

Nice mallard, two males and a hen it looks like. The shot has some incredible blues. I really don't have any nits. It is a nice capture. I suppose what really makes duck shots memorable are if you can catch them in some action or at some very low angles.

Be careful with this bird thing. It is addictive and your pocketbook will hate you. I am saving for that new Canon 800mm F5.6L lens. rolleyes1.gif I'm hopeless.

    Fabulous water
I can almost feel it. It has a "thick" look. That's a highly technical term that means I don't know how to describe it.

    Arvan...

I think your first bird pics are great...I have yet to get such good captures...although i live by the water...the birds seam to have flown....if i am lucky might get a couple of swans in the winter!!! Maybe i will get a some of the garden birds...I am feeding them every day to bribe them to pose!!!!
